Flows in C.F.S.: 1000
Water Levels: high
Water Clarity: stained
Rate: poor
Fishing Report: The first trout stockings have begun in the upper section of the river from Buckland to Florida, so good fly fishing is not far away. If you insist on giving it a high water, early season try, then fish streamers (mickey finns & blk nose dace) slow and deep with a mini-sink tip line (recommended: Orvis Steamer Stripper). Remember, once the fly is on the bottom, keep in moving ,ever so slowly, so you can feel and or see the take.
