There are 33 pockets in all, designed to accommodate all the equipment needed on the stream. On the outside, four large zippered pockets handle your largest fly boxes. Two additional zippered maximum-security pockets for small, easily lost items like pocket knives and keys. Nine other outside front pockets. On the back are two bellows pockets for reels and extra spools, zippered map pocket, and large easy-access raingear pocket. Inside, the vest has places for thermometer, sunglasses, fly boxes, maps, and leader/line wallet. Special pockets organize all your tippet spools.
The Tac-L-Pak is designed for all-day wear and comfort. A support yoke extends across the top of the shoulders to distribute the weight of all your gear evenly. The vest won’t dig into the back of your neck, and the knit collar prevents neck chafing.
All zippered pockets feature heavy-duty, easy-pull YKK nylon zippers with oversize pulls. Generous hook-and-loop tabs on the pockets keep things from spilling out when you lean over.
