| Thread: 6/0 Gudebrod, brown or tan |
| Body: Dubbing: Rusty brown, fine |
| Overbody: 1/16th inch (2mm) thick, tan foam cut into 6mm wide strip. I prefer to use the Locofoam Tan Opal foam for the body. |
| Underbody: Gray closed cell foam, 1/8th inch thick cut into 2mm wide strip and stretched to achieve a shiny effect. |
| Wing: Wing: Natural elk hair |
| Rib: Gudebrod size G thread, black |
| Head: Foam disc, 3/8th inch in diameter, tan color. Cut from 1/16th inch thick foam. I also use the Tan Opal Loco foam for the head. |
