High Performance Features: Medium-fast
compound tapers and high modulus materials generate high
line speed at every casting distance. Progressive actions
aid greatly in line mending and roll casting. This is
extremely unusual in high modulus fly rods. Light, supple
rod tips allow the angler to strike fish aggressively
without breaking delicate tippets. Powerful butt sections
help play and land fish quickly. New 6-piece trout rods fit
into a 20" aluminum case.
Eclipse rods are
appropriately fitted with the most advanced components
available. Fuji Gold Cermet stripping guides provide low
friction for shooting line and unparalleled durability.
Titanium Nitride snake guides and nickel silver machined
reel seat components match function with beauty. Eclipse
blanks are painted a beguiling deep green through one of the
most advanced processes used in fly fishing. The gorgeous
finish has a natural pine resin base and is cured with a
flash of ultraviolet light rather than with harmful
solvents. Our curing process is environmentally friendly,
and results in a super-thin coat that is impervious to color
fading from sunlight. Rod is available from a 3wt. to 6wt.
